The team at Longfield my stepmother and father and their days at home with the family. Their support, kindness and care was exceptional and I could not speak highly enough of them all. Thank you from all the family from the bottom of our hearts.

Review of Fatigue and Breathlessness Group written by a patient
5th October 2017

The fatigue and breathlessness that I attend (for 5 weeks) was very well run. Information provided through discuss on and written handouts was of high quality. The course organizers were excellent, and very attentive to the problems described by course members. I found the course interesting informative and invigorating.

Carers attended to my dad say for about 8 weeks from the first meeting to the last the care and support was outstanding from all carers. He felt very comfortable with all of the carers and enjoyed the banter he had with them. On the morning of his death they still came and fed him and made him clean an tidy for the undertaker. They helped me to have a lasting memory of dad looking peaceful and asleep - thank you everyone for your outstanding care.

Review of Counselling Outpatients written by a patient

Talking me through all the feelings I was having and explaining to me that it was normal. Helping me to understand grieving and the different stages. Just being able to talk about everything I'm feeling to someone that understands and can also give me answers. Explaining that grieving is a long process and to take it slowly. As my loss was quite a traumatic one. Nothing prepares you for loss.

Review of Counselling Outpatients written by a patient
31st August 2017

I first came to Longfield as a member of the bereavement group and find that although very apprehensive about talking in front of strangers, as we were all in similar circumstances and the staff were extremely kind. The classes did help to bring us together. My one to one sessions were am opportunity to talk nicely and in confidence and this has helped to cope with my circumstances. I am extremely grateful to everyone.

I have loved coming to Longfield. The journey itself is so very beautiful and the auntie has a peacefulness about it which is tangible. The counselling was just right and gave me tools that I will use, now and late, I am very grateful for all that Longfield have done for me.

Much of the movement involved copying the instructor, which meant much of the time she had her back to the class. More individuals convection to our positions would have been beneficial if she had faced us more than she did, to see how we could improve the body positions.
